IMPORTANT: BREAK IN YOUR NEW BRAKE PADS/ROTORS USING THE PAD BEDDING PROCEDURE. PROPER PAD BEDDING CAN PREVENT ROTOR WARPING.

step one: To break in the new components, make 6 to 10 stops from approximately 40 to 10 MPH active aggressive pressure. Do not make the brakes cool down and do not come to a complete stop
step two: Make an additional 4 to 5 moderate stops from approximately 35 to 5 MPH. You should expect to smell some resin as the brakes get hot
step three: Drive at medium speed for 5 minutes, do not excessively heating the brakes and do not coming to a complete stop. DO NOT DRAG BRAKES!
step four: Allow 15 minutes for brake system to cool down.
step five: Your brakes are now ready for use and can be driven normally

Before completing the break-in, do not come to a complete stop while the pads and rotors are very hot! This will transfer pad material non-uniformly onto the rotor, causing a vibration during future use.

If the break-in cannot be done or is deemed hazardous under the circumstances, then taking the opportunity to brake hard but not to the point of high temperatures being realized prior to break-in being completed, can eventually yield the same result. Estimated miles to accomplish this will vary with actual use but can be as much as or more than 300 mile, and the slight noise is normal during this period, please don't worry.
